I am an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University University, affiliated with the  Canadian School Attendance Partnership and the Pickering Centre. I recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Rogers Child Mental Health Labs under the supervision of Dr. Maria Rogers. Previously, I completed my PhD in Psychology at Western University in the Sensory Perception Research Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Stevenson.

My interdisciplinary research aims to integrate cognitive neuroscience with community-engaged methodologies to advance the understanding of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and neurodivergence across development. Building on doctoral research examining audiovisual multisensory integration in children and adults with ADHD using behavioural and EEG methodologies, my current work focuses on factors contributing to chronic school absenteeism, including sensory sensitivity, school relationships, and school exclusion. My Master's work looked at inhibitory control in ADHD and anxiety under the supervision of Dr. Ayda Tekok-Kilic.

Guided by a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, I also explore lived experiences of neurodivergent individuals, including barriers to diagnosis and treatment, internalized stigma, and individual strengths.
