I am a passionate advocate for neurodiversity having researched ADHD since my undergraduate degree and having ADHD myself. Neurodiversity is the concept that there is natural variation in how people’s brains work. The idea is that there’s no “correct” way for the brain to work. Instead, there is a wide range of ways that people perceive and respond to the world, including those with ADHD, autism and learning differences (Child Mind Institute).
